Question re: Wireless set up - SSID

Quick question, in general, regarding a wireless set up..

I have 2 wireless routers at home, and 3 set up at church...

In past I have always set each with a unique SSID -

Example, house1, house2...

It was suggested to me that I should name them all the same... in that way
one moving around can remain on line, I guess going from one router to the
next...

Seems like a good idea.... actually...

Normally one machine = one name ...
I have no idea of what could happen when "house" and "house" will be online
at the same time ...
