I am considering changing form one ADSL ISP to another , or perhaps going to
cable .

My question is related to metering of uploads/downloads. Anyon know how I
can figure out my monthly averages. I am considering other ISPs that allow
for smaller GB caps than I currently have with my current ISP, and need to
know if I will be over my average downloads/uploads .

You've already been given a number of tools but you may find your
modem/router tells you all you need to know. Which modem/router are you
using?

No it seem ok
actually in the list of adapters I was deselecting on except ppp adapter
as I have a DSL link it appears I have to select the Ethernet adapter
for the statistics

Is PPP adapter required to be selected, there is no duplication ?

Also trying another utility bmextreme www.bmextreme.com
seems very good, though I had some problems with oleacc.dll
had to apply MS accessibilty upgrade 2.0
author was very helpful
