Question on Joining a W2k Domain to a Win2k3 domain

We have merged with another company. We would like to merge networks.

We have a Win2k3 Domain (native mode) and the 2nd network is a Win2000
domain.

If the Win2k3 Domain is native, can I merge the networks since the second
network is only Windows 2000? Will I need to upgrade the second network to
Windows 2003R2?

Any other suggestions or comments?

Basically, I would like users from both locations to be able to log into
each network if needed.

By "merge", I assume you want to move all the users from the Win 2k domain
to the Win 2k3 domain?

Create a trust between the two domains.
