Hello,

Hope i am right here.

I have installed qpopper (a POP3 daemon/server)
There i have activated SSL with: set tls-support = stls
Then i generated and signed a certificate.

Now, with Outlook Express (SSL activated), i cant pop mail.
Popper logs following in mail.info: -ERR Unknown command: "\200f^A\200^A".

Questions:
Are there nown incompatibilitys between popper and Outlook Expr. with SSL ?
May be anyone have had these error before and solved.
How can i verify that the encryption/certificate is ok ?

Uwe Witte

All those problems will be resolved with just tossing M$ OE completely
and using a real MUA, not this utter piece of crap.

But let me tell you, remove one thing with an other if you get problems,

But, be shure, nothing is out of problems in this world.

*Sorry* i get out of topic, anyone there who can help in the Popper SSL
topic ?
