how many socket connections per server I can use simultaneously and how to
extend the maximum.
I roughly know the maximum per server is approximately 5,000.
But we need more than that for my socket-based services.

In windows 2000 server groups how many user port can be used.
and other O/S(like linux, sunos....) can.

thanks.
