Hello *,
I'd like to get my PC (running linux, kernel 2.6.11) a second LAN
adapter, which I will not use too often - it is just for convenience to
have a cecond adapter.

I found two rather cheap PCI cards:
A Longshine LCS-8038TXV card with the VIA VT-6105 chipset and a Realtek
RTL8139 base adapter.
I looked at the kernel sources, and think that both should be supported
by a 2.6 kernel.

Does anybody know these cards?
Does one have certain advantages over the other?
Which one would you prefer?

Thanks in advance for any hint!

Both chipsets work. I don't think either has anything special in the way
of extra features. As a second NIC, what would you want anyway?
