Yes, it should. "G" is an extension of "B" to higher data rates. It falls
back to "B" at rates of 11Mbps or lower. "A" supports the same rates as "G",
but is not compatible with "B" because it operates in a different frequency
range.

Slight clarification of previous post. "G" is a separate standard from "B",
and it falls back to 9 and 6 Mbps. But virtually all "G" chipsets you buy
today are dual-mode, and support "B" as well. If you're looking at adapters
to buy, it won't hurt to ask the vendor to be sure it's dual-mode.
