Question for the experienced...
Use G wifi router here with a little Siemens 6db square panel hinged desktop
antenna that most manufacturers offer as an accessory. 80 degree beam
seems to work equally well from the front and back sides which works out
well for that routers location.
Have added another router config'd as AP/switch to extend range sitting in
the rear of a separate structure and am in need of adding an antenna there
too. While that little desk top flat panel antenna would work well there
too I'd like to not supply the neighbors open ssid MSHOME radio with access
to my signal as he tries and tries already maybe by accident while sitting
out there all night in his van.
Q: Will a yagi style antenna (8db Telex flag) have weak or no signal off
the backside or will it also propagate quite well front and rear ?
