Purpose of a jumper cable

Hi friends,

CIsco Aironet 1300 mentions about the jumper cable in the docs? I dont
really know the purpose of it? And I am just wondering if I need it
when i am ordering for the Cisco Aironet Access point?

I have read a lot but not able to get any definitions / purpose of
jumper cable.
Please explain its purpose.
