hi
I have a windows 2003 server with 2 GB network cards
One is on the public network, and on on the private network
Same config as another window2003 server which works
Except on the new one,
every couple days, ,mostly in the middle of the night, the public card stops
responding. it reports that its connected, and there is nothing in the event
log.
I repair the public nic, and it starts working right away.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this, or a fix?
thanks a bunch

posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help.

You should not assign default gateway on the private NIC if it is multihomed computer. This search result may help,

Routing Don't add default gateway across disjoint networks Is it possible both sites of the VPN using the same IP range Metric is the same for both the remote ...
