Yep. You need the PS2 network adapter from Sony -- this is
a wired adapter.

If you want wireless support, you need, in addition to the
wired adapter, a PS2 wireless adapter (the wireless adapter
is a generic one not made by Sony, and requires a PC for
configuration).

Then, you just plug-in the PS2 adapter into the network and
configure it ^_^

Let me just add to lilo's comment. I have added my PS2
(which now comes complete with an ethernet adatper) to my
wireless network using an inexpensive Linksys game
adapter (802.11b). Setting up the game adapter can be a
little tricky, but aftwards, it has never been a
problem. IT even included 128-bit WEP and a MAC address
you can use with MN-700 mac filtering. Very cool.
