PS2 to my existing D-Link 614+ ?

I've been using the 614+ for over a year with my PC's... with ZERO problems.

Wife got me a Playstation 2 this Christmas.

Are there any wireless solutions to connect them?

Linksys makes the "Wireless-B Game Adapter" - sells for $80 at Staples -
works with 802.11b networks.

The 810+ is nice but it costs $20 more than my wireless router ($40 now that there's a rebate). Why shouldn't I just buy another router or an AP?

Because they won't do what you want them to do. Many APs and Routers will not
work in a stand alone client mode.
