Properties for WLAN missing !

Hi Gurus,
on my Laptop (Toshiba Tecra 8200, Win2000SP3) is no posibillity to setup my
WLAN. Normaly, there should be a "Wireless Network" Icon, but it isn't.
Any ideas ?

If you have a wireless device installed properly, but there is no icon,
it may be set to hide the icon.

1) Can you see the wireless device in the Device Manager? If you can and
it seems to be installed properly, then ...
2) Did the installation install a program for configuration? Check the
Programs listing for such a program.
3) If no program listed, open the control panel and see if a
configuration utility is listed there.

JB,

I had problems with WLAN when WZC utility was running. You may want to
disable the WZC services and see if that helps. If not, uninstall WLAN, and
resinsall it while the WZC is still disabled.
