Steve,

All compters have file and pinter share options selected/

I am prompted for password when trying to explore a
machine in network neighborhood. Where do set-up those
password to allow access ?

Steve you are correct you did mention the uplink.

My aim is to be able to share and even copy files between
computers. Share would be technically different that
copying files from one to another computer.

As described below steve, uplink conected to the router
and the switch have 3 computers connected to the regular
ports.

The result is that in network neighbourhood, I am now
prompted for a password when I want to explore one of the
machines ( Right click and explore )

I assume I must set-up a list of access rights in between
each computer and each computer ?

Please stop posting more than one copy of your messages! It's very
confusing and annoying!!

I just answered your earlier copy of the exact same message. Look for
the reply there.
