Does the wireless networking operate the same in other
countries? I am moving to Spain, and intend to get ASDL
service, so long as my wireless equipment will work to
setup the network there.

Microsoft Broadband Networking hardware is not supported, except in North
America. Other countries have different standards. I would recommend you
look to local suppliers for the proper hardware in the area.

Different countries use different channels of the 2.4 & 5.8 GHz
frequencies. (I only know that the USA & Canada use channels 1-11 &
that European countries seem to use a different set of channels.)

Though Microsoft doesn't make any networking hardware for outside the
USA & Canada though.

Since this is a Microsoft newsgroup the topic is going to be Microsoft
products & not products of that type in general.
