Can someone tell me how to setup a route for 2003 server
with 2 nic's:

static ip example:
Nic 1 66.66.66.1
nic 2 66.66.66.2

same segment on both sides. We cant bridge because we
would like to monitor the traffic through.

Any help would be awesome.
Andre

Hi Andre,

What is the subnet mask that you use? If it is 24 bit or less it will be a
problem since this is the same network (same subnet)...

If you need a reliable solution, you will have to setup two different
subnets...

One option would be to have subnet mask 255.255.255.128. This would give you
two IP ranges. First 66.66.66.1 - 66.66.66.127 with 25 bit subnet mask and
second IP range 66.66.66.129 - 66.66.66.254.

In this case you would have to reconfigure your second NIC to e.g.
66.66.66.129.

If you do it this way, your router will build its own routing table based on
NIC information.
