I am trying to get SMC's print server to work under Fedora 1 using cups,
would someone kindly point in the right direction?
Thanks

Try configuring cups to do regular lpr/lpd printing to it. Some SMC print
servers call their queue LPT1, and others call it something else. See
your SMC docs for the queue name (online if you do not have the manual).

The problem with the print server in my SMC 7004AWBR is that it always
spit out an extra job separator page, with no way to disable that.
