I am having problems with 3 of my workstations right now. When the user locks
the system before they leave in the evening, the next morning, none of their
shared drives work. They are essentially losing their connectivity or their
login session with the domain controller. as soon as they logoff and log back
in again, they work fine. the 4th workstation doesnt have this problem. all
systems and user accounts are setup exactly the same, just with different
folder permissions...(clerical, financial, etc...). All accounts are set to
never expire a session. Does anyone have any suggestions? or at least tell me
what is causing this. thanks in advance.

Andy

What's in the even tlogs?
Maybe a bit off topic, but I suggest that your company make it a policy that
all users log out at night (or restart). If you have to do any sort of
maintenance after business hours, you don't want to worry that users are
staying logged in. Mapped drives should be configured by login scripts,
also...

This is probably a better question to post in a group for your client OS, by
the way.

Sorry, I'm having keyboard problems. That was supposed to read "event logs".
