Problems using PPPOE

Hi,

yesterday my ISP changed and I'm having trouble getting my connection to
work again. I had a working internet connection using pppd/pppoe and all
I did was changing the user name in /etc/ppp/options and adding the
password to /etc/ppp/chap-secrets.

When trying to establish the connection it seems that there's no answer
from my ISP. I tried to find my access concentrator using "pppoe -A" but
it failed. I also tried to do some discovery but it failed again. I
always receive the error message "Timeout waiting for PADO packets" or
the pppd tells me "LCP: Timeout sending Config-Requests".

I called my ISP and they checked the route down to my DSL modem and
reset the port but it didn't help.

Any hints on what to do now?

Paul
