could anyone help me with this problem? it 'd be much appreciated.

i have user shares on a win2k3 server with sp1.
this server is also one of my Domain Controllers
lately users's mapped drives appear offline and cannot access any files
until they reboot.
this only happens if the drives are using synchronization. if they are not
set to synch. then they are ok.

what could be the problem?

Hi,
I m Krish. I would like to know if there are any event ID's in the Event
viewer in the application log. the event id would help me getting the right
T/s steps for you.

Thanks
Krish

Hi,

Please check the application and security logs in the server and also check
if the offline file syncronization option is enabled. Try disabling this
option. i hope that should work fine. You can go through this article
KB842007. see if this works

Regards
Krish
