howdy,
I've got a MN-700 and trying to setup an FTP. I've set portforwarding to
TCP ports 20 and 21 on the computer that the server is on, yet I can't
connect via my WAN IP with cuteftp.
I don't think I'm missing anything. I can't even ping my WAN IP with the
server running.
Any ideas?

Hi,

Unfortunately the MN-700 doesn't include loopback support.
If you use your Internal LAN IP address you'll be able to connect.

You can get a friend to try logging into your ftp server from your WAN IP
address and it'll work, only internal clients won't be able to connect with
your WAN ip address.

You can contact technical support and address your issues and hopefully
they'll release something that'll fix that problem soon.
