Is anyone else here on the Sale exchange in Manchester? If so, are
you having problems connecting?

I haven't been able to connect via Broadband since Wednesday morning.
My ISP, UKOnline (part of Easynet, I think) have identified the
problem as a faulty piece of equipment in the exchange, but they can't
give me any idea when it will be resolved.

Does anyone have any more information, or an idea of how long these
problems take to resolve?

Can take a while. A friend on Sale, but not with EasyNet, was out for about
a week

Correct. From the info on SamKnows web site, shown here for Sale
http://www.samknows.com/broadband/ex...hp?ecode=MRSAL
the exchange has equipment from Easynet (now BSkyB)...

It seems likely to only be users of the Easynet/BSkyB equipment then, so
it may not affect all users at Sale (remembering there will be lots of ISP
customers using BT Wholesale products from that exchange).

One for UKOnline /Easynet/ BSkyB unfortunately... Hope it gets sorted!!
