problems about proftpd?

I have a problem about proftpd, when I start it.

The fellowing error message comes:
ofat - error :Unable to determine IP address of 'ofat'

I don't know why.
I need your help.

Neither do we. You have access to all your configuration files and
diagnostic tools, but you cannot figure it out. We don't have that access.
