Hi,
I have a problem setting up a Belkin PCMCIA 802.11b card based on this
chipset. I'm running kernel 2.4.21-ck1. I have the modules pcmcia_core,
yenta_socket and ds loaded and when I do 'pcmcia start' the modules
p80211 and prism2_cs load, but the following errors appear in syslog:
kernel: prism2_cs: RequestIRQ: Resource in use
kernel: prism2sta_config: NextTuple failure? It's probably a Vcc mismatch.
kernel: prism2sta_event: prism2_cs: Initialization failed!
cardmgr[2239]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily
unavailable
cat /proc/interrupts reveals:
0: XT-PIC timer
1: XT-PIC keyboard
2: XT-PIC cascade
8: XT-PIC rtc
9: XT-PIC acpi
10: XT-PIC usb-uhci, usb-uhci, eth0
11: XT-PIC ohci1394, Texas Instruments PCI1420, Texas Instruments
PCI1420 (#2)
14: XT-PIC ide0
15: XT-PIC ide1
The same error occurs if I remove the module ohci1394. So: any ideas
what's going wrong? Please, let me know if I need to provide more info.
Thanks,
Adrian.
