Un-install all firewall programs (ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security,
etc) while troubleshooting the network. An improperly configured
firewall can cause problems like you're seeing.
If that doesn't help, please reply to this message in the news group
(not by E-mail) with more information to help other people understand
the problem.
Is there an Internet connection on your network? What type?
How are the computers connected to each other -- through a crossover
cable, hub, switch, or broadband router?
What did you tell the Network Setup Wizard when it asked how your
computers connect to the Internet?
What IP address and subnet mask does each computer have?
Can the computers ping themselves and each other by IP address? By
computer name?
