problems with MN700

I just purchased the MN810 kit. MN 700 router and MN 710
adapter were included in it. When i went to installation
i got the compatability warning because i have xp sp2
installed. I went ahead and installed it anyways. But
then every few mins the base station would stop working
and then i'll have to restart it and then i would work
again for few seconds and then will drop all the
connections again. I went ahead and got the update from
the website and now it working fine so far. Does anyone
know if that was the issue with sp2 or with the base
itself and if the the same problem would happen again.
