I have an Intel Pentium III 450MHz Processor.
Windows 98,
128MB SDRAM.
13 Gb Hard drive

We are networking 2 PC's and 1 Laptop.

The main PC is running Windows 98SE and is connected to a
Belkin modem plus router ADSL 802 11G.

The 2nd PC is running Windows 98 and has a wireless USB
network adapter 802.11b attached.

The laptop is Wi-Fi enabled.

The Problem is that the 2nd PC (spec above) will load web
pages with only a few pictures on them without any problem.
However if we try to load www.amazon.co.uk for example it
struggles to load the pictures as there are so many of
them on the front page.

We have spoken to belkin technical help, who said we had
good networking connection speeds and so that is not the
problem. This still happens even when I am the only one
using the network.

Could the problem just be the fact that the 2nd PC is just
running Windows 98 and not 98SE???

Any suggestions/help greatly received.

Thanks

Gloria Bond
