Three things off the top of my head:
1) Update your drivers to the latest available FOR THAT VERSION OF
HARDWARE! Linksys is well-known for incompatible hardware revisions,
and installing the wrong drivers can really confuse things. If
there's no hardware version listed, it's V1.0
2) Configure your drivers to allow "b" and "g" mode. There should be
some configuration settings in Device Manager.
3) Something could be broken in your WPC, try another one or call
Linksys for support and troubleshooting assistance.
