Hi all,

I'm a newbiw with wi-fi, I recently bought a linksys wi-fi router and usb
adaptor. I also have a wi-fi PC card for my laptop. I have no ploblems
with my laptop, my problem is with my usb adaptor on my desktop. Every
5mins or so, the wireless link would loose connection and a few minutes
later, it would re-connect. As my desktop and laptop are used in the same
room, I know there is no problem with signal (the adaptor register very good
signal levels). I have search through all the parameters of the adaptor and
see no options to set connection time (I've set idle time to never).

Anyone know what the problem is? Any help would be much appreciated. It's
extremely frustrating to use my desktop as it keep loosing the wireless
connection. I'm running XP.

TIA
Roger
