Problems Laptop XP Home and WPA-PSK

My laptop I can't access to a router configured with WPA-PSK. The laptop
connects and immediately disconnects.

I have a laptop with Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG, I configure it to access to
a wireless router (Zyxel 660HW) configured with WPA-PSK and TKIP. When all
is configured the laptop establishes the connection with the router but in a
few seconds the laptop loses it, then it repeats the operation (connect and
loses the connection) about four or five times, finally the laptop says that
it can't establish the connection. The laptop is running with Windows XP
Home Edition with SP2 and the last Windows Updates. I have another computer
with Windows XP Pro SP2 and it connects properly with the same
configuration. A curios thing, when the laptop with XP Home establishes the
connection, in then globe that appears in the task bar it says: "Connected
to: SSID (not secure)" however in the other laptop it says "Connected to:
SSID (WPA)". I have installed the last driver of my wireless card. The key
is correct and the TCP/IP configuration is correct too. With WEP all
functions well. It is possible that the problem is related to the length of
the key as I read in this forum, the length of the key is not so large about
15 digits. Some one has had the same problem.?

I've had this happen, when the key didn't stick, even after save & reboot.
double-check your key and its length, try different, simpler keys first (not
shorter, but simple characters).
This problem may occur in the router or the individual card. It may be a
firmware problem.
