Problems With Intel PRO/1000 MT On Windows 2003

Has anyone experienced problems using the Intel quad port PRO/1000 MT cards
on Windows 2003? We are using them in an HP DL385 server, and they have
been horribly buggy. Aside from just not working, they randomly disappear
from the Device Manager. We replaced them with PRO/1000 GT, and that
does work. The older MT model may not have very good Windows 2003 support,
or I guess it could be a hardware issue with HP DL385. I'm curious if
others have had similar experiences.
