I have a netgear wireless access point linked up to my DSL TV box. I can get
online wirelessly through my laptop - no problem there.
However 2 issues arose with my flatmate's laptop.
1. We cannot both be online at the same time for some reason (I suspect it
may have something to do with automatically assigning ip addresses that end
up conflicting).
2. I was away (as was my laptop) so there should have been no problem with
him getting online, but for some reason he would open explorer, be able to
get to a web page and then explorer would tell him that no matter what the
next page he would try and visit was it couldn't find it. His lap top has xp
professional and the firewall is disabled. Naturally my laptop works fine and
can get online fine.
If anyone has any suggestions about what maybe wrong (esp with the 2nd
problem) then that would be cool.
