Running the VPN before logon is not easy. You may try to create VPN as a service. This link may help,

Hello and thanks for all the tips i can get.
Want to do the following:
Log on to my computer using a domain user and pwd.
I have added the user in my computer -> properties -> computer name ->
Network ID
Everything checks out fine. I then log of and try to log on with the
domain, userID and pwd.
The computer doesnt get the connection with the domain and i get a
message something like "domain is not sccessable" .
I cannot use the dial-up before connecting becuase the VPN and wirless
connection doesnt pop up as an alternative.
I think the solution is to make the wireless internet connection and
VPN active before log on.
How do i do this.
I Use Windows XP proffessional edition SP2. And my network card,
ethernet port, doesnt work, broken and dell wont fix it....
Thanks for all the tips.
