Problem with wireless-G Base Station [MN 700]

I have a cable [ethernet] connected and running [get the
internet witout a problem.

But I cannot get an IP address for my laptop with a
wireless connection. Cannot get on the internet.

I have a cisco PCMCIA Aironet adapter.
