Problem with wireless adapter on a compaq v6000 laptop

I recently got my computer back from repairs from a crashed hard drive. The
wireless adapter switch does not turn on anymore, and I can't connect to any
wireless networks.

When I click to 'diagnose the problem' it says that I am missing wireless
networking hardware. What should I do?

If the Wireless switch does not work you have No option but to contact
again the repair department.
