Problem with setting up Wireless Network

I have just bought a new PC fromTiny, unfortunately the instructions are not
very good.

It has a MSI 'Wireless Software Router' which is really confusing me. It can
work in AP Mode or Gateway Mode.

If I try to check its properties, everything is greyed out and a message
says that Windows is looking after it.

I have tried to set it to Access Point mode to just connect my laptop to my
desktop, the laptop cannot find any available networks. I have also tried
Gateway mode to share my internet connection but again, no network found!

Can anyone guide me through the setup process?

Cheers
