Problem With Search Feature in this Forum

Has anyone else noticed that you cannot use the search
feature here to go back more than about a month. Even
if the post is still here.

Try going to page 15 by manually entering 15 in the page
box. Pick any post you see (probably from early dec
2003.) Make sure the date range includes that date.

Try to search for that post and it won't come back.

If anyone knows a workaround for this, I'd like to know
it. I've been trying to find a post from mid-January and
I see I've been wasting my time with the search feature.

The MS search features are abysmal - it's a known problem

If you want to search these newsgroups - use Google Groups - apart fro
anything else, they have around 8 years of archives, while these groups
currently have only the immediate past month!.

Thanks. I just searched Google Groups and found what I
needed immediately.
