Problem with Remote Agent

I have a windows 2000 member server in a domain. I keep receiving an error in
my application log like this:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: DevManRA
Event Category: None
Event ID: 39
Description: The remote agent received a request from a host that is not
allowed access.

this happens every 10 seconds (sometimes sooner) I can' find out what the
source DevManRA is from.
If I disconnect the LAN cables from this server the error stops. So
something from inside my network tries to access the server every few seconds
but can't get access. I checked the other servers, but no one receives this
error.

I'am very worried about this, I hope somebody knows how to handle this.

For everybody who is searching for the same issue. When I changed the setting
in the HP Power Manager software the problem was solved. So this could be the
solution to the problem.
