I have strange problem with RAS . . . I want to enable RAS so that some
managers can dial to office from site. . I am using Windows 2000 server
SP4. When I use Routing and Remote Access to enable the Modem port, it gives
a error "The port information cannot be saved . Cannot complete this
function (800703eb)" and does refuses to add the port. Can somebody please
tell me how do I add the port ??

thanks in advance for any help

Kind regards,
Nabeel

This usually means that the modem driver is not compatible with RRAS.

There have been discussions on this in the past in the ras_routing
newsgroup. Apparently it is possible to get some of these odd modems to work
with RRAS by fiddling with registry settings. I haven't tried it myself(and
wouldn't either)!
