Adding to Jason, the MS routers use by default the
192.168.2.x subnet, while most other brands use
192.168.1.x -- If you have a reference on the computer to
that ...1.x subnet that would prevent you from getting
access to the router (maybe a gateway or static IP). Run
the Command Prompt and enter ipconfig
You may need to change settings under Network Settings
for the "other" computer.
The alternative is to go to the router and change it to
use a 192.168.1.x subnet and then on the computer that is
working fine.
