Problem: Linksys WAP55AG in A-Mode, Dell Truemobile1400 + WEP= no connect!

Howdy. I've just installed a tri-mode ABG Linksys AP for use in our
facility. I am using a Dell D600 notebook with a tri-mode ABG wireless card
to verify operation. B and G work flawlessly with and without WEP enabled.
However, whenever I try to enable WEP on the Linksys A-mode side, the Dell
insists there is no WEP coming from the AP and whether I set it up or not on
the Dell side, I can never connect to it. If I disable WEP on both sides,
A-mode works just fine.

Any ideas?
