I have a domain controller that is also a secondary domain controller, and
RAS Server. The NIC has a static IP address and the Dial up connection is
using DHCP. My problem is when there is someone dialed into our remote
access server the IP address that is registered is the Dial up connection
instead of the static ip address. Can this cause a problem with DNS? Should
it work like this or should the address always be the static ip address when
pinged?
Thanks for your help.
