I have a file server, and Windows 2003 Server std is installed on the server.
The file server is also the DHCP, VPN server, and the gate way of the
internal network. However, it is not a DC.
I enabled NAT/Basic Firewall under the Routing and Remote Access.
I’m having problem uploading file through FTP clients (I’m using FileZilla,
and a user tested another software) to a FTP server. No problem with download
and other staff.
When I upload a file smaller than 20MB, there is no problem at all. However,
when I upload a 25MB file or larger files, it uploads the files, but after
while it gives timeout error message and the size of the uploaded file is set
to o.
I have a FTP server as well, and it has two NICs.
There is no problem uploading files (no matter how big files are) from a
workstation to the FTP server. though the files were uploaded through the
internal NIC or the external NIC, which is in the same network with the file
server. The problem is when larger than 22MB files are being uploaded through
the file server to a external FTP server.
Following is parts of the all messages I got.
