problem with file shares

Hi,

I've a strange problem with a windows 2003 server stand alone (not include
in any domain). This server has various shares setup. But when you connect
from a different machine you can see the shares but you can not access them.
Windows Explorer just hangs. This happens from every machine in the same
network.

Any ideas?

What's the system error if you use net view \\remotepcip? Or this troubleshooting may help,
