I have a 1300 mhz computer with a ASUS A7V8X motherboard. It has a BCM nic
built-in and no way in the bios to remove it.

I installed a 3COM nic because I have speed problems with the BCM nic.

When I do a speed check with the BCM, I get speed of download - 400 and upload -
550,
I add and run the 3COM nic and my speed goes up to download - 1800 and upload - 550

00:09.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401 100Base-T (rev 01)

00:0e.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905 100BaseTX [Boomerang]

Any ideas what is going on?
