Problem adding a second NIC

Dear expert,

I have already added a second NIC (3Com 3c905C). But Kudzu did not
detect it at all. When I launched Hardware Browser from Systems of
RedHat 7.3 KDE 3, I found there is 3c905C... It seemed to have driver
for the card. But there was no entry of eth1 when issuing ifconfig
command.

What should I do? Please help me!

A fellow named Vu Pham was nice enough to post how
to do this using the very same model of ethernet card.

This should get you going. Note that you have PCI
cards and should not have to declare module options as
is done with the older ISA cards. However, you may
need to pass the kernel some options via "append"
in your lilo.conf if you have the driver built
into the kernel (not as a 3c59x.o module).
