I'd guess a bad card, especially if Device Manager says it's configured
correctly. Remember that Device Manager doesn't really test hardware, all
it does is check to make sure that the driver can see the resources it's
supposed to.
You could put a head of cabbage inside your system (assuming, of course, you
had the right drivers <G>) and as long as the drivers for it could see any
I/O or IRQ resources it had been assigned, Device Manager would say it was
OK. :-)
