Hello...
In a test environment I have here a server (Windows of 2003 servers SP1) and
a PC (XP Prof SP2).

Until yesterday (before 2003 SP1 installation) still everything was correct.
Problem: In irregular distances I cannot access the shares of the server
any longer.
Mostly takes so 30-60 seconds to it again goes.
All services over IP (Apache, Div. server) are accessible and also ping work
fines.
Thus no network problem.

In event minutes no entries are too sehene.
Up to: If I can access again, the server notes in the EL that was logged
in.
At the server is also nothing to notice (address CPU load, drive).

Yesterday (before 2003 SP1) I copied still approx. 120 GB in 300.000 Files
and was everything was fine.

Someone any ideas?

Stefan

ps: sorry for my bad english, and happy greetings from germany

Update

in the EL of the client appears this:

MrxSmb { overrun during the writing } all data for file
"\Device\LanmanRedirector" were not stored. The data were lost. Possible
causes are computer hardware or the network connection. Indicate another
file path.

This was automaticly translated by google. This is not a generic error
message
