Prism Nitro support for NetStumbler

I'm looking at SMC 2862w-g dongle to use on my linux laptop . Do all
prism chipset work on netstumbler ? I could not find what OS is support
by this dongle. The linux page on prism chipset does not mention nitro
as supported by their drivers.
