"Offline" means that the printer isn't available. Where does the
printer show as "offline," on the PC (what version of Windows?), on the
laptop, or both?
When you used the Add Printer Wizard on the laptop, did you add it as a
network printer or a local printer?
And not to insult you, but is the PC to which the printer is connected
powered on, not in standby or hibernate, and have a user actually logged on?
